§ 10.12.150. ABANDONED VEHICLES.

Any vehicle or disabled vehicle remaining parked, upon any street or right-of-way of the city for more than 48 hours is an abandoned vehicle. The police department shall give notice stating the owner shall remove the vehicle from the streets of the city within 24 hours and failure to do so shall result in the storage of the vehicle at the expense of the owner of the vehicle. Notice shall be given by attaching a distinguishable notice to the front windshield of the vehicle. In the absence of a windshield, the notice shall be placed in a reasonable position as to be observed by the owner of the vehicle.
