§ 2.08.030. VICE-MAYOR.

The Council members shall, at the first regular meeting in December each year, or as soon as practicable, designate one of its members as Vice-Mayor upon approval of the majority of the Council, who shall serve at the pleasure of the Council. The Vice-Mayor shall perform the duties of the Mayor during his or her absence or disability. If a Vice-Mayor is unable to complete the term as Vice-Mayor, the Council shall select one of its members to fill the unexpired term.
