A. The executive service includes all regular employees whose positions have been authorized by the City Council, and have not been included in the unclassified or classified service.
1. Person hired as full-time employee to perform the duties of Department Director/ Department Head, from and after November 12, 1995; and
2. All city officers appointed by the City Council - City Manager, City Attorney, and City Judge;
3. Person hired as full-time employee to perform the duties of Assistant Attorney, City Prosecutor, or Assistant City Prosecutor, from and after June 12, 1999.
B. The grievance procedure and right of appeal do not apply to executive employees.
C. All executive employees shall take the loyalty oath or affirmation as required by state law.
