§ 9.20.060. ISSUANCE OR DENIAL OF PERMIT.

  • A. After conferring with necessary city departments, the Special Events Coordinator may issue a special event permit conditioned upon the applicant's written agreement to comply with the terms of the permit, unless the Special Events Coordinator finds that:
    1. The special event will unreasonably disrupt the movement of traffic;
    2. The special event is of a size or nature that requires an unreasonable diversion of city personnel to properly oversee the special event.
    B. The Special Events Coordinator may deny an application for a special event permit and notify the applicant of the denial upon finding that:
    1. The information contained in the application is false or nonexistent in any material detail; or
    2. The applicant refuses to agree to comply with or abide by all conditions of the permit.
